A herd of grey goats can be yours tomorrow
Those of you that regularly buy parts at Pick a Brick will have noticed that it takes several months after they first appear in sets for them to become available there. The much-coveted new goat, 6490240 GOAT, NO. 10, that comes in 10332 Medieval Town Square, should have been obtainable there on Monday, and for a while it was, but at the wrong price. This has led to LEGO issuing the following statement: On July 1st, along with other novelty elements, we were excited to make available one of the greatest LEGO elements of all time, the LEGO goat (6490240) through the online Pick a Brick service. Unfortunately, a pricing error was identified with a select number of new elements including the goat. Approximately 30 minutes after launch, these elements were temporarily removed as we investigated. At this point, the cause for the error has been identified and corrected, and the grey goat will return to Pick a Brick on July 3rd. In line with the terms and conditions of LEGO.com, all orders placed on July 1st, for the LEGO goat, have been or will be cancelled. So, at some time tomorrow, you'll be able to buy a goat-load of them, but only while stocks last, of course! Second Koenigsegg Jesko incoming
 A second Technic Koenigsegg Jesko, 42184, has been revealed at LEGO.com. It's a white version of the previously revealed grey one, 42173, and will be released on the same day, August 1st. LEGO has dabbled in recolouring Technic models several times recently, (42151 Bugatti Bolide and 42162 Bugatti Bolide Agile Blue, and 42161 Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica and 42196 Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica Orange, for example) but has never released the two versions on the same day before now. Producing two 'identical' models is going to be cheaper than making two different ones, obviously, so it must be worthwhile doing so. Designer insight: Nathan Clark
 Many LEGO set designers use our BrickLists feature to maintain a list of the sets they've worked on and often provide interesting insights about their involvement. Once a week we publish an entry from one of their lists on the home page to increase awareness of this information and to encourage more designers to create them. Nathan Clark wrote this about their work on 60354 Mars Spacecraft Exploration Missions: For this set, I joined a team to help design a new building experience. One centered around an app that would give building prompts to guide builders to designing their own solutions to story based missions. This was an interesting challenge since it had never been done before and I think the results are everything we hoped for. An immersive experience where kids design their own creations that they can be proud of and to help them to not shy away from creating something completely new. Review: 76923 Lamborghini Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo
 Speed Champions has become more ambitious in the sorts of cars developed over the years, as a wider selection of elements has assisted in the creation of increasingly complex shapes. 76923 Lamborghini Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo is an excellent example. The concept car's dramatic curvature and many bodywork cutouts require some interesting building techniques and I think this model looks marvellous in official images. Large-scale C-3PO figure unveiled!
 The first image of another new Star Wars set has emerged on The Brick Shop, based in Singapore: 75398 C-3PO! Fans have discussed the possibility of a large-scale rendition of C-3PO for many years, matching other droids produced before, but myself and many others doubted it would happen. After all, Threepio would need a huge number of pearl gold or metallic gold pieces, which seemed impractical. However, the model is finally here and I think it looks excellent on the whole, seemingly matching the scale of 75379 R2-D2. The piece count has not been confirmed, but the price of $229.90 SGD is the same as 75337 AT-TE Walker, so I presume this set will cost about £119.99, $139.99 or €139.99 when it is released, likely in August.
